Yes, it seems to be not the goal of Tudor to slightly underproduce but to meet demand and allow people to buy their products. Not a bad move and complimentary for the Rolex brand.

In 2020 Tudor produced around 230k watches, Rolex 810k but the audience for Tudor is still growing. So many people still have no idea what Tudor is.

Rolex wants to increase their average price per watch, hence the push to more PM variants….

Average selling price (estimated) slightly under 10k CHF for Tudor, slightly under 3k CHF….
