FS: Rolex Explorer 1 14270 Tritium
Up for sale is a Rolex Explorer 1 14270 T-Serial (1996) with eggshell patina returned from Rolex Service dated March 2021. The watch is in good, little to no polish condition with light wear marks. Comes on a 78790 stamped with matching period clasp code of Z5. End links are stamped 558B. The bracelet is in very good condition with little to no stretch. Chronometer Certified timegraph +/- 2 seconds per day passed by Rolex Authorized Service in March 2021.
This is the T-Swiss Tritium dial with eggshell patina, easier seen when put up next to my 214270 or when you put on a tan/beige/green strap. Rolex Service: I asked the AD to send my Rolex in for a little "tune up" with timegraphing, movement check, and water proofing in anticipation of this sale. The watch performed well, they changed the gasket, and ultrasonic cleaned it. They returned the watch to me with no other estimated repairs, replaced parts, I did not want a polish. No trades at this time please. Condition: 8/10, there are wear marks but nothing that digs into metal. 11 links total, will fit just about 7in wrist. Dated: 1996 Accessories: Rolex Authorized Service Papers dated 2021, Rolex Authorized Service envelope, Rolex Service pouch Price: USD 6,800 shipped via Fedex expedited shipping. Or you may send me a label as well. Wire, Zelle, Venmo accepted. I am a private collector in Southern California. Can do face to face at AD or bank. Please let me know if you have any questions through the PM system, please ping me. I have excellent references through the years in multiple forums dealing with transactions ranging from $50-$50k. |
