126610lv & 126610ln

Hi all,

Something I was just wondering about.

The 126610ln and ln share the exact same face, hands and size. What would stop someone putting a green bezel on a black sub and selling it off as a LV?

We know previously this wasn't possible as the 16610ln had a maxi dial and the 16610lv had the smaller handset etc.

I'm just really curious as no doubt people will be doing this as the watch market gets more hyped?

I know the warranty card obviously would say LN but people could just scrap the warranty card, get a bezel insert and command another 2k+ for what was a LN sub?

Thoughts?
