Ceramic bracelets - no more holes?

One interesting update that I didn't see mentioned much was that of the 77350CE. Not only did it get a new-style dial and its own 50th anniversary rotor, but also a new version of the ceramic bracelet without the two holes on each side of the links.

Wondering if anyone knows about this? Aesthetically that's a big step forward from the prior CE bracelets, although it makes one wonder if a non-destructive assembly of that part of the bracelet is still possible.

Interestingly, the other 34mm models apparently did not get updated, at least according to the AP website.
