Girard-Perregaux Tubette 1.0
Even with its big shortcomings, such as a too short display time and meager battery life, Girard-Perregaux is following up their Casquette 2.0 with another spectacular retro desire! The Girard-Perregaux Tubette 1.0 features four classic Nixie vacuum tubes mounted laterally, with a center matching small tube to separate the Hour and Minute display.
Nixie_Face.jpg Having received quite a bit of feedback after our Casquette 2.0 release, Girard-Perregaux has designed the Tubette 1.0 for ease in accessing the batteries. This makes changing power supplies a very simple matter using a single (included) tool. In addition, Girard-Perregaux authorized dealers will provide a lifetime of service for battery changes free of cost. The special limited edition Girard-Perregaux Tubette 1.0 goes on sale today, April 1, only. As you can imagine, due to the limited supply of Nixie vacuum tubes, only a handful of these have been produced. Nixie_Band.jpg Retro design meets modern horology as each limited edition Girard-Perregaux Tubette 1.0 will also come with its own unique NFT. krusty.jpg To provide a fair and honest opportunity to be invited to purchase a Tubette 1.0, those interested can place an $88 deposit at their authorized dealer. While we considered offering this via the internet, we want you to experience the personal touch as only Girard-Perregaux can provide. We want you to become familiar with our authorized dealers, so we may begin a long-lasting relationship with brand enthusiasts. (and yes, that is me wearing the exciting new Tubette 1.0) Wearing_Nixie.jpg
