Offered a Daytona, no purchase history

Was out getting lunch, noticed a new AD next door. Walked in, was rudely cut off before I could say much.

Me: "Hi! I'm looking for a GMT BLNR with..."
AD: "Nope, sorry we don't have those. We'll put you on our waitlist if you wish but the line is long and distinguished."
Me: "Never mind, I didn't want to buy anything today anyway"
AD: "We do have a White SS Daytona if you're interested though"
Me: "No thanks, we don't have a relationship - I don't know you from a hole in the wall!"

I'm never going back there. Sheesh!
