Daytona case differences, has anyone noticed this one?

So the PM vs ss case differences are well known. Symmetrical vs asymmetrical, feet vs no feet.

Now I noticed that the bracelet end link was sticking out past the edge of the lugs the other night as I was enjoying my whiskey. I was like hmm are my springbars loose already? Surely not. A closer look shows that the the curve of the lugs don’t match the bracelet. Unlike the ss and tt were the bracelet endlinks sit within the lugs.

A bit of a head scratcher lol. Another TRF member said that he would guess the full pms were originally designed for straps hence the feet at the end of the lugs. I checked the wg and pt online. Same thing… the weird world of Rolex keeps giving.

I’ve also attached photos of the weights of the Daytonas I have sized with two links out. Just what I get up to when I get some me time with my favourite drop.

Anyway hope you all have a great day.
