Date just 36 1978

Hi everyone,

I got hold of an unworn 1978 date just 36. It has the sticker at the back and everything but missing the documents. I received extremely varied offers but I’m not sure what could be a fair price for it. I reckon something around 7k GBP but that’s only based on my research online as I’m not an expert or a holder of a Rolex before.

Also there seems to be a black stain on the top of the gold area. Looks like oxidation but I am not sure whether i should attempt to clean it or leave it as is.
