Rolex - embrace the whole gamut and tolerance

I’ve been collecting watches for +30 years. Yes, the watch world went bonkers since 2019. Yes there are and have been huge amounts threads focusing upon: Pricing, Grey dealer woes, AD Conspiracy, Inflated Prices, Market up/down, Nicknames, The dreaded “investment” threads. I’m sure I overlooked many…

It’s a sign of the times guys. Love or loathe, It’s become part of the scene. We may be fortunate and it all blows over, or it may became a permanent fixture for the longer term. Either way, it’s a reality. What I think is that we need to accept that this is a new phenomenon and embrace the change, however tedious it may seem to some of us. Getting bitter or flaming this contemporary narrative just makes us all look like we’re bickering, intolerant and even parochial.
