7205 Bracelet on 1501 Oyster Perpetual Date

Hello people, I am the proud new owner of a nice 1501. I love the engine turned bezels. It's my first Rolex, did a bunch or research and I've very happy so far. Wondering if anyone can shed some light on the following....

The watch is a 1501 with a manufactured year of 67. It has a 7205 rivet bracelet with 57 end links. The clasp is marked with S W8 7835.

I am trying to ascertain if the bracelet is original to this watch. From what I've read the "S" means it's a service piece which I am assuming means it didn't come from the factory with this particular band. However, did the 1501's come with these 7205 rivet bands? Google is telling me they started using the 7205's in 1954 and these band were also used on some Daytona's.

I'm just hoping some of you experts can help me fill in some of the blanks. Thanks for your time!
