I don't entirely disagree, but think it has mostly to do with size/proportions. In fact, I feel that way about the majority of 39mm+ Tudors in the brand's multi-size lines (1926, Royal, BB 32/36/41, and BB S&G 31/36/39/41 in particular).
I think I'd like the 1926 in 36mm (though haven't seen one in person), and was surprised by how much I actually liked the Royal in 34 (though I think ideally the former would come in 34, the latter in 36). On the BB side of the house, I think the S&G 36 may be one of the nicest looking TT watches I've ever seen, but the larger ones look huge. |
