6105 red "OFFICIALLY", and date
Hello all,
First of all, I really have to apologize for the pic. It was taken quickly with a cameraphone. It does have a red date wheel (which I just noticed is wiped out by the glare). I have come across a 6105. Serial number in the 700,000's. The dealer is asking for $3800, which I think may be too high. Also, the date wheel is a bit worn out. The date doesn't completely click into the window. I would love to know what your thoughts are on this one. Some inconsistencies that I'm seeing on the dial are the shape of the rolex crown, the presence of the numbering at each index marker, and the dot is usually below each marker (in this one they are kind of incorporated into the bottom of the dart). It keeps time, and doesn't appear to have been serviced in a very long time. Which may be a good thing since all parts are most likely original? Many thanks.
