Rolex 6542 Question

Hello all,

I have an opportunity to purchase this watch
Its definitely a 6542 with the correct case and movement (which is currently not ticking) but there are some issues.

The bezel insert is not correct. Its been replaced.
As far as I can tell, the dial is not correct either. I have never seen a Rolex dial with pointed tips. Not the classic submariner/GMT dots.
I would appreciate your thoughts please.

Thanks in advance.
