Change to Rolex Service Centers at Authorized Dealers?
TRF — Has Rolex “expanded” what it means to be a Rolex Service Center (RSC) to include what was formerly authorized service centers at ADs?
As I was looking on Rolex.com with their announcement of the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program, I noticed some of these changes. https://www.rolex.com/en-us/watch-ca...#locateme=true If you look at the Rolex link for their service centers in the US you will now see many many RSCs. Dallas, New York, and Beverly Hills are designated the same as many ADs with technicians on-site. Lititz, Pa is not listed. Additionally, the Rolex website and the old RSCs do not provide any information on how to ship a watch in to them. When I look further, at a big AD like Mayors, you see a “green service card” under their local page for service. https://www.mayors.com/rolex/servicing-your-rolex Is this a new change? Will a local “RSC” now provide the green Rolex service card and warranty? I wonder if this change is associated with the CPO program, which seems to be decentralized to certain qualified ADs, where their perform the steps to service and certify the pre-owned pieces. |
