Hello! Newbie from LI NY coming through...

(Im not sure when the cut off date is to say this but...) Happy New Year!

I just bought my watch and thought this would be a good place to start and introduce myself on this forum.

Unfortunately I don't have some long interesting story regarding my purchase.
My story is simple. For the longest time I appreciated the precise internals & moment ,the heritage and the fact its a tank yet elegant looking.
It is by far the most recognizable watch on the planet..... and I wanted one.

My business has been picking up so as an "Atta Boy" to myself.. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a classic white face date just. Fluted with a oyster bracelet. 41mm. I'm liking it.

I found this forum because while digging and scratching the web for questions I had prior to my purchase, I found myself reading the answers from this forum. It seems to be loaded with some good knowledgeable people.
So I'll absolutely watch (pun intended) get involved and interact on some of the posts & threads here too.
