Finally get a chance to put it on the wrist. The boutique has provided a black strap with extra padding in place of the original honey calf strap. And I feel that it is a perfect match.
Some thoughts. This is the first time I handle a Pt TV as the one I saw in the boutique was a RG. And boy, this does have some heft to it. When I wear my Pt RQ, it did not feel heavy but this one does (not in a bad way).
The mirrored cage around the vertical Tourbillion does its job really well in giving the illusion that this is a flat Tourbillion. It is mesmerizing to see the 30 second whirlwind going round and round. I think I am addicted to things moving on the dial now. (MAD One, LMs)
As for the size, I think it is the right size for my 18cm somewhat flat wrist. A slightly smaller wrist will be okay but no smaller than 17cm. The height of the watch probably will be out of proportion for a small wrist.
Less so for the lug span since the lugs curved down rather close to the case.
And most importantly, the entire boutique staff was very helpful and accommodating. Really makes you feel like you are part of a bigger family.
This will be my last major purchase for a long time to come. Never would have imagined owning a piece like this if you asked me 10 years ago. Just feeling lucky and blessed.
