I listen to them at times. I can tell the Hz or VPH by counting how many cliks per second. Fun little exercise.
I've been able to confirm so far: - 18,000 vph in my Longines pocket watch (2.5 Hz or 5 clicks per second), - 21,600 in my NH35 based divers (3 Hz or 6 clicks), - 25,200 vph in my co-axial 2500 ETA based (3.5 Hz or 7 clicks). - 28,800 vph in my regular ETA based and Rolex watches (4 Hz or 8 clicks). Love the different sound signatures too. Find it pretty fascinating. |
