The competition have really stepped it up and if they want to stay relevant they'll have to as well. I miss the days of the Biscayne mentality: same basic structure as the Belair but without the frills for 2/3 the price.

I’m hoping they will lean more toward reliable off road and leave the country club segment to the GX. Rumor has it it’s going to have a turbo 4, seems Toyota is headed toward turbo everywhere.
