Rolex Yachtmaster

I recently purchased a brand new (from an authorised agent) - Rolex Yachtmaster TT -168623- midsize blue dial and the date wheel is erratic from day one. At times date changes at 3:30 in the morning instead of midnigh. This watch is still covered by warranty but that does not make me happy. I feel I have been robbed. I handed over this watch to the local dealer and expect the date wheel to be replaced/repaired by Tuesday 28th July. The guy who is trained by Rolex claimis Rolex does have many defective components in their watches produced these days.

I want to know why Rolex does not have a stric quality control before despatching their watches to these dealers? Am I being taken for a ride?
