New Sea Dweller Issue

I’m a new member here and I’m looking for experienced Rolex aficionados. I bought a new 43mm Sea Dweller ten-days ago from an authorized dealer, and the next day left for a three-week trip to Africa. In those ten-days more than half the time, at midnight, the date flips two days instead of one. Is this a common issue? This is my first Rolex and to say I’m disappointed is a gross understatement.
