Hello - just joined
Hello, my father recently passed and I inherited his watch and camera collection both of which are impressive. My wife and I took care of him for many years until his passing a few months ago.
The flagship of his watch collection is a Rolex Submariner Date 126613LN (never worn, which I'll never understand) the one watch I will proudly wear and keep forever. I did notice one issue with the watch bracelet (and maybe this is why dad never wore it); the easylink (where you fold it down after adjusting) won't stay snapped down. There is no satisfying 'snap' when folding it down onto itself - it's like the springpin isn't the right one (now my dad was well-known for messing around with his stuff and in his later years with dementia he did much that I've had to undo to make things saleable) or... I don't know. Regardless, I've watched several youtube videos on how the easylink is supposed to work and this one looks perfect but just doesn't snap down or stay put. If I put the watch on, it will eventually pop apart and the springpin drops out. Not good. Any ideas? We live in the rural and there are no AD's within 100 miles.... Thanks in advance Jeff |
