Any experience using Cartier watch service center?

I just recently purchased my green dial Santos de Cartier about two months ago. I only had the watch on for a second time and upon glancing down on the second hand, something caught me right away. There was a very noticeable mark on the surface of the short end of hand . I used a loupe and it looked like the surface was unpolished. I might have missed it when I was at Cartier boutique, because I don’t usually inspect dials or hands of new watches at this price range. The question is have any of you ever dealt with Cartier service centers for warranty repairs? I’m a little hesitant since the watch is brand new and I don’t want to have it opened and potentially getting dust or scratches on a mint watch. (Had that happened to me on a brand new SS Daytona and a Nautilus at their service centers). So I was just thinking to live with it and having it fixed down the road when it is time for a service .
