Craigslist scam
If this needs to be relocated to another forum or deleted, please do.
With so many desperate folks trying to buy a watch, the temptation to buy a watch at a discount is appealing. Here is an LV sub listed for $2500 on Craigslist posted within the past day. https://denver.craigslist.org/jwl/d/...709339024.html Same watch listed about a month ago for $18,900. https://denver.craigslist.org/jwl/d/...699550104.html If the watch wasn’t listed for $2500 but a more realistic price like $9000 someone my fall for it. I don’t know how this scam gets executed but a fake LV might be given. Card wouldn’t match so maybe nothing ever gets transacted and someone is ripped off. Buyer beware. It’s been said many times, yet we keep reading about folks that get scammed some how. |
