Where to stay and dine in Toronto?

We were there nine or ten years ago. Stayed in the Four Seasons, I recall it was a hike from the Downtown and Waterfront areas. I don’t recall where we ate, so we may have struck out on that front.

Any recommendations from Toronto natives or business or leisure travelers?
