Icon5 Patek 6119 G or R

Hello,

I was preparing to pick up the 6119G but my AD surprised me and told me he has both models.

Unfortunately, I am not in good health at this time and the dealer is sending me my watch. I have never seen either of these watches in person.

This is a special occasion watch as I turn 55 years old and have always collected Rolex. This will be my first Patek and my first dress watch.

I am a college professor and prefer to lecture in slacks, a polo shirt and sports coats. I wear brown shoes, brown belts and lean towards Twead coats.

The 6119R looks more classic to me and I tend to dress more classic, I don’t follow style trends at all? Which one would you select and why for me?

I appreciate any help you can provide as I am not mobile for a few more months and can’t go see the two watches in person. Also, the dealer wants a decision by tomorrow.
