visiting New Zealand with my wife

hello everyone and kia ora New Zealanders.

I will be visiting New Zealand after 12 years, I left nz in 2012 and really excited to visit the beautiful country again in march 2025. I stayed in NZ for 6 years from early 2007 to mid/late 2012.

This trip is going to be a nostalgic trip for me since il be showing my wife the entire country and the places I worked/ stayed. It's her first time to NZ so im excited to show her around.

I will be landing in AKL and will be in the north island for 15 days then travel to South Island for 15 days-- total 30 day trip.


Would love to meet forum members while on my trip if anyone want to catch over a beer. ( I still haven't decided yet which watch to wear on my trip)

also wanted your help/ recommendation on a good car hire company in akl- I would like to rent a good suv for 30 days.
