It is interesting how we all see things differently, despite liking the 5712 (and having one on order) I have the opposite view about the dial layout when compared to the 5822. It is the 5712 that has the squished seconds subdial on the right, almost crashing into the bezel in a very odd way. And don't ask about the power reserve, what is that doing both positionally and why is it even included on an automatic watch.
