Since you open up by saying you love F1 cars since you were a kid I would say the yellow gold Daytona OF is the clear winner. You have a SS Batgirl for the more casual occasions. The DD is great but u find it more on the dressy side. For a 50th birthday you need yellow gold. I got my buddy the ghost and it’s a great watch. It’s just doesn’t pop like the yellow gold.
