Paxlovid
Has anyone taken Paxlovid for Covid? If so, I am curious how well it worked for you and if you had any concerns for taking it or any negative reactions to the drug.
I tested positive for Covid this morning and my doctor called in a prescription for Paxlovid, the low dose. This is the third time in three years that I have tested positive. The two previous times I was also prescribed Paxlovid. Full dose in 2022 and low dose in 2023. Both times my symptoms improved by the next day and I tested negative by the second day. I am on the fence about taking it this time as I have heard that it may be putting too much stress on the kidney and liver and that due to the virus morphing/changing that perhaps the efficacy is not as positive as it was a few years ago. |
