Oysterflex Bands compatability
Hello everyone, I currently have a SS daytona (126500LN) and am thinking about switching out the bracelet for an oysterflex band. I was wondering if anyone had experience doing this with the new reference stainless steel daytonas, and if a submariner glidelock clasp would also fit on the oysterflex bands.
Based on measurements, the new reference sub (126610LV) glidelock clasp will not fit, since it is 1mm larger in width, but I was wondering if anyone with the previous generation sub (116610LV) had been successful in using the glidelock clasp with an oysterflex band. I am aware that end links will be needed to close the gap, and am planning on using all Rolex OEM parts, except for the end links. Many thanks in advance!! |
