I'm sure this has been discussed before and I just haven't found it but...

almost a month into ownership of my Milgauss GV and I've picked up a couple of (very small, hardly noticable) scratches on the bracelet. When in at the local AD on another matter (SS Daytona) they said that they do full 'valets', including polishing, for £100. At that price it wouldn't be a biggie to do every few months. However, I'm concerned not to take too much metal off the watch. So, how often do people polish and what are people's thoughts on how often one should?
