Why is there no COMEX issue SDDS

Strange when you think that COMEX was directly
involved in de development of the SDDS ( I believe they also build or helped building the giant pressure cooker to simulate the pressure at 4000 m to test the watches) that they not have ordered a batch for their divers . We saw the special police task forse divers in Italie order 78 normal SD where they had the option to do it with the SDDS. I can hardly believe that in case of a company as COMEX that it was the price tag that put them off . Or does this mean that COMEX only rely on more functional dive computers even as the traditional "back up " watch .
