GMT 2c AR coating
Does anybody out there know why Rolex chose to use AR coating on the date window but not on the rest of the crystal. Its a massive improvement in visability of the date so why stop there. Alot of other manufacturers use AR either on one or both sides of the crystal with great affect in my opinion. I know some people don't like it on the outer side of the crystal because of scratching. I completly understand that though its never bothered me personally. Do Rolex consider it more important to see the date clearly over the time ?
