Merry Xmas to you all my Rolex loving friends .
So here we are , and me that was thinking to wear today the SS/WG DJ2 that I hoped my wife would have bought me for Xmas . No such thing .. I'm wearing the the T-shirt she got me . There was however an envelope from our local AD attached to it with a letter stating that they are very sorry for not having been able to deliver the requested model " 116334 with roman white / cream dial " they hope to get it from Rolex Spain early next year . Talking about crisis .... not a DJ2 to be had ?
Anyway my biggest joy is that she loves the Leopard Daytona I got her , she does think that I'm mad .. but she loves it . My poor brother in law sat there a bit sorry looking as his wife was green with envy especially that she only got a sterling silver pendent . We did try to tell her that the gesture was more important then the value .... that balloon didn't seem to go up very far .So we are now all preparing lunch and I will try and take some pictures of my wife wearing the leopard , I then must post the pictures without her knowing as she doesn't approve of me putting her on the net ... guess I will wear my 116520 to go with my wife's watch .
