Nakaya Pen

In a direct response to this excellent thread by shandy (Ian) http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=100822

I ordered a Nakaya pen from Classic Fountain Pens, Inc in LA, the transaction was an absolute dream, I heartily concur with Ian's recommendation of this superb company.

The pen itself is an absolute joy, beautiful classic simple lines with a rich deeeeeeep deep reddy black colour, superbly lacquered, it writes as smooth as a smooth thing, beautiful, I'm absolutely delighted.

On with some photos, Its raining cats and dogs outside and I cant find my table top tripod so there is some shake but I hope they illustrate the beautiful colours.

Came in a beautiful box with a mouth watering catalogue.

Inside the box was a silk sleeve containing the pen

I decided to specify no clip on the pen to keep the uncluttered lines of this long fountain pen

Some photos trying to show the colours.

The Nib
