Canadians traveling to the USA with more than one Rolex?

Further to the import thread that is currently active....

Comments in a couple of threads have suggested that foreigners traveling TO the USA carrying more than ONE personal Rolex, could be grounds for some major hassles.

If true,I do not understand this. Why the heck could I not take my two hard-earned watches with me if I so desire?I was planning on taking two with me next vacation to California. My YM for dinners and functions out...and my soon to arrive ND Sub for hanging at the pool, golfing etc.I was planning on wearing both watches down on my wrist for safely purposes.

Am I to understand that I am actually NOT permitted to legally do so?

Any clarification most appreciated!
