My apologies to "rolexsubdate"

In another thread yesterday, we were all commenting on a 9kt bracelet and there was a back and forth between us over the points in the clasp's crown.

In the process of our back and forth over it, I called him a "Numbnuts" .

In print, it looked rather harsh...and then the thread was locked. I just wanted to say that, as difficult as it may be to beleive, I meant you no animosity.

Growing up, "numbnuts" was actually a semi-affectionate way of my dad telling us we did (or we were doing) something stupid

So that is most likely why I was chuckling as I typed it and thought nothing wrong about the post.

So I just wanted to say I'm sorry and please don't take it personally
