When not wearing watch?
When I come home from work, I always take my Rolex SD off my wrist and place it on a soft polishing cloth.
I recall reading somewhere on this forum that when a Rolex is not in use, the watch should be placed on a soft cloth face down on the cloth. The reason for this is that this is the best position for the watch when not wearing it so as to allow the lube in the gears to recycle itself throughout the watch as the watch was worn face up all day, as well as the watch tends not to lose time in this position. Is this true? |
