Polished Center Links on Subs?

I know its possible to have the center links polished on the ss sub bracelet but I was just wondering what exactly is involved in doing so and who/where would I need to take it to be done? I dont have a sub yet, but am considering picking up an LV but I kind of like the polished links that I have seen on the oyster which the LV does not have. What are the pros/cons of having this done, besides the obvious apperance change? Also if anyone has any pictures of polished center links on a ss sub I would love to see them. Still not sure IM completely sold on the idea yet but Id like to have the option of possibly doing it later down the line should I decide to. Thanks.
