Current sub or wait for the New Sub?

Hi There all

This is my first post on the forum and firstly what an amazing source of info! Has made the last 9 months a treat in my research for a new watch.

This is my problem........ I had decided that for my 30th I will treat myself to a Rolex and it will be a Sub 16610. However after nearly pulling the trigger in March I saw the pictures of the New Sub C due out this year and now I'm in a dilemma do I pay the extra and wait for the new one or go and buy the current version?
Also which is the better deal as the new sub is significantly more? Will this drive up the prices of the current model soon?
For reference I am on several waiting lists and I have been assured the new sub this year? I'm not looking to make money out of this, this is my watch that I want to keep forever and hopefully pass on to my children.
Thanks in advance
Chris
