GMT bezel click...

Hi,

I'm curious to know whether the GMT bezel should have precise, "ratcheting" clicks with a crisp sound. My 1996 GMT seems to turn fine but doesn't have the sharp clicking sound that one would find on a dive watch bezel. Is this normal?

Pardon this question too, but I understand that there should be 120 clicks on a dive bezel...why is this so when there are 60 minutes/seconds per hour/minute cycle?

Thanks
