Almost stuck my foot in my big mouth
I saw a watch with a cyclops on someones wrist just yesterday. I comented that that was a nice watch. The owner said oh no this is a knock off. He took it off and handed it to me and I noticed when he gave it to me that it was a metalic looking DD that felt pretty light in weight. Then I could tell it had to be a knock off.
He went on to say how he had this for years and it was batttery operated and kept perfect time, something we both agreed a Rolex would be a little off. He then said he had actually purchased a real Rolex in the 50's but gave it to a cabby because he ladked funds for a cab ride. I said if he had only kept that watch how much it would be worth now. He further said how his wife had offered to get him a real one not to long back but when they found out how much it would cost for a watch that was just too much. He then noticed my watch a real TT DJII. He said that is a nice watch what type of watch is that and I said oh that is a knock off too. I really did not intend any harm when I noticeed what he was wearing, and I gues I am an amature because I couldn;t tell his was fake until he said so and handed it to my. But biy did I start feeling bad when he started telling me about it. I guess I might want to watch that in the future. I really was just trying to be polite when I said that is a nice watch.
