Omega Broad Arrow Advice
Hi everyone,
So far in my watch collection I have been a Rolex man. I started with a Datejust and have just added the new GMT IIc which is an awesome timepiece. Having recieved my first Rolex a couple of years ago and saying that you could only ever wear one watch at a time I have truly been bitten by the watch bug. I really enjoy the history behind many of the cult watches, principally by Rolex and have decided to collect at least one example from each of these iconic groups. For my next purchase I have decided it's time for a chronograph so I naturally turned to the Daytona but having handled a few I just don't really like them that much so, also theirs no date which is a must for me as I regulalry forget the day and date! I therefore started researching Omega and I have been happily impressed, particularly by their Speedmaster line. I think the speed master carries just as much of the iconic status of all the great Rolex references. I really like the the Broad Arrow variant of the Speedmaster but not knowing that much about them and never having owned an Omega I wanted to ask your opinion on, which model in the range you think is best, how you think omega stacks up against Rolex on the wrist and any other thoughts you may have would be really welcome. Please feel free to post some pictures as well. Thanks in advance |
