I'm a happy man

Today was my 50th Birthday. I thoroughly enjoyed my day. It consisted of a night out at dinner with me, my wife and my kids.

I made sure I was able to take the day off of work and do whatever I wanted to do. Sure I had some errands and chores to do the first part of the day but mostly the day belonged to me.

Guess what I ended up at the AD. I told the guy bought my previous watches from (Rolex) I was just looking and not buying. But I wanterd him to show me around. I have already purchased 4 Rolex watches this year and at some point I have to show some restraint. Just wanted tobrowse and strat getting some idea what I wanted next.

But anyway I asked him to take me on a tour and this time I want to start considering something on a leather strap. A more formal watch.

Being a newby I know which brands but don't rember exactly what type of watches I looked at. SORRY I GOOFED I DIDN'T bring my camera. BUT I SWEAR IT HAPPENED.

Anyway he started with getting me a bear. Then he showed me a number of the Panerais', then the Patek Phillippes', then the IWCs', and then the Breitlings.

There were a number of Patecks' I fell head over heels for. One was a Calatravera which was Ok, but the other was the AnnualCalendar which I definitely Luved. These are awefull thin and delicate watches.

The Pams' where fairly big dialed and might take me awhile to warm up too.

There was an IWC which took my fancy. It was in Rose Gold. Think it was the Reffrence IW544803.

The Breitlingswhere a bitt big and gaudy, although some of them had some interesting dials.

Hope this belongs here and doesn't have to be moved somewhere else.
