Explorer II back from RSC today

Remember my birthday gift Explorer that had a fault with the red paint on the 24 hand? Got it back from my AD today, the repair sheet stated “24 hand replaced” and guess what, the red paint stops short of the arrowhead just like the shots you guys posted of your Explorers.

Its a lot neater than the original crooked finish (first pic), just wonder why it doesn’t go all the way to the end like my GMT. Oh well, there’s more important things to worry about so I’m just gonna enjoy the watch.

My AD had a customer’s cream Explorer going to RSC for a service, first time I’d ever seen one in the flesh, boy it was so beautiful, love the unpainted WG hands & markers.

I know the black paint is a better contrast with the snow-white dial, but the WG with that shade of cream is gorgeous.
