Wow! Rolex Canada wants $868 to service my DJ?

Hi,
My 1987 16013 DJ was due for a full service, it had last had a full overhaul about 8~10 years ago.
I brought it to a local AD, and they sent it off to Rolex Canada for an estimate.
After two weeks, Rolex finally comes back with a quote of $868 to service my watch! Are they on drugs!
Must have had some major issues you're thinking? Nope, in the estimate they just listed the usual service items? Needless to say I told them to close it up and send it back.
A local long established Rolex AD who does in house servicing charges $500~$600, last time they did it it it came back looking great and ran flawlessly for for 8~10 years.
I should have gone back there in the first place.
Have others experienced this gouging from Rolex service?
