Daytona Zenith movement VS In house movement???

Hi, My name is John. I am very new to Rolex and have very limited knowledge.
I am interested in purchasing a Daytona ss, but not so sure which is more preferable among collectors. Zenith or in house movement? Just in case I would like to resale it in the future, which will hold resale value.

I understand that the Zenith has been discontinued and I can only purchase pre-owned, where as the In house version, I have the option to purchase new or a pre-owned.

There are some really good deals on older Daytona (10-12 years old) but in mint condition. is there anything to worry bout buying old VS newer models???

Your inputs are great greatly appreciated. John, from San Jose California.
