The Decider. Please advise
Hey Guys
I'm a sucker for when a Rolex gets discontinued. I know I should've purchased it when it was widely available, but oh well. Anyways, I've got a Sub LV 16610LV and have been hankering over a Black 16610. There's one come up as BNIB but I don't know what to do? The AD has offered me £3000 on part ex'ing my LV, but as he's priced the Sub 16610 at £3999, that would mean that I've got to stump up the extra £999 to complete a deal. So, am I crackers to be looking to go down this route and should stick with the LV, which is in it's own right a fantastic watch, and a future classic, or for arguments sake do I look to part ex the LV, add the additional funds and own the old style black sub? I'm not into changing bezels on the LV. I know many of you guys do and praise the look highly, but for me the LV was released with the green bezel and that's how I like to keep things - Original, and as they were intended. Would appreciate your votes and advice. Cheers J |
