Wolf Design 2.5 winder for SS Daytona

I realize this is a stupid question so I apologize in advance. I would like to purchase the Wolf 2.5 winder for a SS Daytona. I have read that the Daytona requires 800-950 TPD, bi-directional. This winder is set at 900 TPD. I have read that wolf winders TPD double when you utilize bi-direction which would make this 1800 TPD. Question, at this many TPD would it damage the watch. Thank you for your assistance. The reason I am looking for a winder is that i will rotate the Daytona with a Date Just.
