Scratched my DSSD!!

Absolutely gutted isn't the word! Was messing around last night trying to change a bulb on the wife's Audi TT so she could go out and forgot to take my DSSD off my wrist before hand.

Come back in and took it off to wash hands and i've scratched the case just behind the Helium Valve at about 10 o'clock on the side of the case! Runs virtually from top to bottom of the case but not too deep.
Could bloody kick myself! First time i've ever scratched a watch in 10 years of owning Rolex's!

Don't want to send it back to get re-done as I think waiting time here in the UK at the moment is around 8 weeks, so anyone got any ideas how to tackle it myself and what to use?

Regards,

Mike.
